Special Guest and Last Minute Changes

Hello again blogger! With filming of my teams final project being just a day away, I thought it I should go ahead and share some final details with you all before filming begins, such as introducing a special guest that will be playing a role in our film, as well as showcasing some of the minor last minute changes that have been made to our introduction.

Sebastian Rodriguez

Meet Sebastian! Better known as just Seb, he's been a long time friend of mine, and has helped me out in the past with other filming projects, both in and out of school. He's been hearing my teammates and I talking about our final project for some weeks now. Even though he doesn't have AICE Media Studies this year, he quickly volunteered to help incase we needed any extra hands. It just so happens that at the time, we still needed someone to play the homeowner of the home invasion, so we quickly asked him if he was available to play the character, and he instantly agreed to. Even if he plays a minor character, I just know that Seb will be a great help to our project.

Slight Change in Plans

Originally we had wanted all the robbers to wear very similar costumes, with their clothing mainly consisting of the color black. However, our group member Pedro brought up a good point, this introduction is supposed to be comedic, but the robbers didn't have many comedic properties to them, and so, we began brainstorming on what we could do to make them more comedic, and we came up with a plan. 

Many thieves and robbers throughout media have distinct and unique masks to them, as a way for audiences to distinguish the characters apart from one another fairly easily. With that in mind, we came up with a plan. All the robbers would be in agreement to commit the robbery in a mainly black attire, with them not wearing anything flashy, so that they don't draw attention to themselves. But once they get to the house, they quickly realize that one of the members among them didn't get the memo, and thought that they NEEDED to bring a unique mask. 

We think this would add some much needed comedic elements to our intro, with this fish mask below being what we currently have in mind for using in our filming tomorrow.
