Day One of Shooting
Hello again! My team and I just got done with our first day of filming our project! The day was a little shaky near the beginning, but I think we progressed a lot with our first day of filming.

As I just said, out first day filming was a little rough at first. You see, we had all agreed to meet at my house at noon, but when 12:00 came, only Yulian and Sebastian we're here. Jonathan had accidentally slept in, and had told us that he would be arriving a little late. No big deal though, we still had plenty of time ahead of us. Pedro on the other hand, was nowhere to be found, we called and texted him, until he finally arrived at 1:30, where he told us that his phone had died a while ago, explaining why we couldn't reach him.

Upon his arrival, Pedro brought the fish mask that I previously mentioned in my last blog, as well as some others for us to try, incase we decided to wear some also. The picture above is one Yulian took and Jonathan trying out a goat mask that Pedro had brought.
The majority of the filming that we we're able to accomplish today was outdoors scenes of the robbers breaking into the house itself. We had to do a couple of attempts, and change around some things, but we think that the results turned out very good in the end.

Along with filming the outdoor scenes, we we're also able to film some of the indoors scenes too, such as the shots of the robbers accidentally meeting the innocent home owner, and knocking him unconscious. This actually took a lot of attempts, as we just kept on laughing or messing up is silly ways when attempting to film the scene. Directly after this, we filmed the shot of the the thieves walking over the homeowner into the next door room, where they would begin stealing the houses valuables.

In the end, filming went fairly well, although we would've liked to film some more on our first day, due to time constraints, we weren't able to film much more. Not to worry though, we all came to an agreement to meet up again on January 17th, the upcoming Friday, to continue our filming. As far as reshoots go, I like the way that out scenes turned out, but I do think that some need to be reshot, such as the confrontation between the robbers and homeowner. But other than that, I think this was an excellent first day of filming!
