Day Two of Shooting
Good afternoon again! As of a few days ago, we finished our second day of shooting, we wanted our second day to focus on reshooting scenes we thought could have gone better, and mentioned in a previous blog post, make the scenes shorter than what we had initially filmed on our first day, so that our project could turn out as great as we want it to.
With our last days of filming being just a day away, I thought now would be a good time as any for me to share how the reshoots went, and also admit to how not everything went according to plan or the way we had planned.

You see, originally, we had wanted to film during the weekend, so that we would all be well rested and ready to film. However, Pedro had to burst our bubble, and broke the news that he actually had plans for the weekend with his family.
No big deal though, we decided that we would instead film on the Friday before, the only issue with filming on that day was that it gave us a tight schedule for filming, as we all had school to attend to first, and not only that, but some of us had an important event that we had to attend after we had finished filming. Even with these glaring issues however, my group and I came up with a flawless plan so that we could get our filming done.
It was simple really, firstly, after the end of the school day, we would all meet at the front of our school and get into my parents car, and grab a quick snack, as some of our group members don't eat at school. Afterwards, we would drive over to Pedro's house to pick up the props we need for our filming, and lastly, drive on over to my house so we could get started on our filming.

Everything was going perfectly, just shy of one hour away before our plan went into motion, disaster struck. Jon sent a message to all of us that some personal matters had just came up. He said he was sorry, but it was urgent, and he wouldn't be able to film that day.
Saddened but not discouraged, we told Jon not to worry, we perfectly understood why he had to cancel, and started planning on what we could do during his absence. We decided that if we wanted this to work, we could just reshoot the shots from our first day of filming that didn't need Jon to be seen within them.
Perfect! Although not what we had initially planned, we were back on track. We set our plan in motion, we all met up and hopped into my parents car, grabbed a quick snack, got the props from Pedro's house, and finally arrived at my humble home, where we could finally begin filming.

Even though we were all tired from our long day of working in school, we finished the reshoots that we had hoped to do. Even with all the hardships, whether it be rescheduling, or last minute changes to our plans, in the end, I love the way that our footage turned out, and definitely believe that what we were able to capture turned out even better than what we did on our first day of filming.
In the end, although tiring, all of these difficulties that we faced, served as lessons to all of us, teaching us just how important communication can be in a group setting, and how even though things may seem impossible or hopeless, with the help of each other, we were able to push through all the challenges that faced us.
