Initial Storyboard

Good afternoon, bloggers! My teammates and I are going full throttle in preparation for our Final Project, and I think it's as good a time as ever to take a moment to share what I think to be a great storyboard that outlines how and what we aim for our final project to turn out to be.

The flow of the storyboard may be a little odd to some. The way you read it is from top to bottom instead of left to right. What I mean by that is that you start with the pictures on the left and keep your eyes on that side until you reach all the way to the bottom; then, you begin to read the right side. Although this may be a little off-putting at first, it really is quite simple once you know where to look.

Of course, each drawing is accompanied by a simple description of the shot right below it, allowing us, during the actual production, to quickly remember anything about the shot we may have forgotten. Additionally, we numbered every scene and shot so as not to cause confusion when reading, and we even put the type of shot it is, once again acting as a guide for us during the actual shooting.

I couldn't be happier with the way the storyboard turned out in the end, and of course, it couldn't be done without the help of each of our teammates. Jon takes credit when it comes to making the drawings and the notes. I assisted Jon by providing pictures of different rooms and parts of my house, as we all had previously agreed that the filming would be held there, as well as giving him some ideas for where specific scenes should take place within my house. Pedro and Yulian were both a huge help as well, as they both brainstormed and fed us ideas for potential scenes and plot points in both the first and second half of the film, respectively.
